MLP in GTX 2: Net Ninjas Strike Gold! 🥷✨
What's up, pickleball fam! 🙌
If you missed MLP in GTX 2 on September 9th, 2025, let me tell you—you missed one HECK of a show! This was our second MLP-style tournament here in Georgetown, Texas, and WOW, the energy was absolutely electric! ⚡️
After the success of our first event, we knew we had to bring it back, and boy did the community show up ready to PLAY! 🔥
Three Teams, One Dream 🏆
This time around, we had three incredible teams battling it out for pickleball glory. Let me introduce you to our fantastic competitors!
Meet the Volley Llamas! 🦙
First up, we've got the Volley Llamas! I mean, how adorable is that team name?! These llamas came ready to spit fire (metaphorically, of course) and bring some serious South American flair to the courts! 🦙💚
Just LOOK at that team branding! Llamas playing pickleball with mountains in the background? Chef's kiss! 😘👌
Enter the P-Ball Wizards! 🪄
Next, we've got the P-Ball Wizards! These magical players were ready to cast some serious spells on the court with their enchanting shots and wizardry-level strategy! ✨
How cool is this logo?! Wizards playing pickleball? That's the kind of creative genius that makes our Georgetown pickleball community so special! 🧙♂️🏓
And Finally... The Net Ninjas! 🥷
Last but DEFINITELY not least, meet the Net Ninjas! Stealthy, strategic, and absolutely ready to strike! These players brought that silent-but-deadly ninja energy to every single match! 🥷⚡️
That logo though! Ninjas battling it out at the net? Perfect! You can practically hear the "hi-YAH!" from here! 😄
Each team brought their A-game, their best energy, and some seriously creative team names that had us all cracking up! The team spirit was OFF THE CHARTS! 🎉
The Battle Begins! ⚔️
The competition was FIERCE, y'all. We're talking rallies that had everyone on the edge of their seats, incredible teamwork, and that classic pickleball camaraderie we all live for! 💚
Check out the day-of action to see just how intense things got out there! The energy, the plays, the pure JOY on everyone's faces—this is what pickleball is all about!
Throughout the day, we kept close track of the scores on our trusty whiteboard! The points standings kept everyone guessing. Would the Wizards cast their winning spell? Would the Llamas volley their way to victory? Or would the Ninjas sneak attack their way to the top? 🤔
The tension was REAL, folks! Every match mattered, every point counted, and you could feel the competitive energy building all day long! 🔥
And the Winners Are... 🎊
After an epic day of competition, drumroll please... 🥁
The Net Ninjas emerged victorious! 🥷🏆
LOOK AT THOSE CHAMPIONS! 🎉 These stealthy players brought precision, teamwork, and some seriously impressive pickleball skills to claim the top spot. That victory pose says it all! 💪
The final points standings showed:
- Net Ninjas - Champions! 🥇
- P-Ball Wizards - Strong second place! 🥈
- Volley Llamas - Solid third! 🥉
But here's the thing about our MLP events—EVERYONE wins when you're playing the sport you love with amazing people! The smiles on everyone's faces? That's the REAL trophy! ❤️
Custom 3D Printed Trophies! 🏆
Can we talk about these trophies for a second?! 😍
We didn't just hand out any old awards—oh no! We went FULL pickleball nerd mode and 3D printed custom winner trophies featuring adorable little pickleball players!
Each trophy was personalized with the date (9/9/25) and "1st Place MLP in GTX" because if you're gonna win, you gotta have something cool to show for it, right? These little guys are now sitting proudly on mantles and desks all over Georgetown! 💛
I mean, how cute are those tiny pickleball players?! They even have little paddles! 🥹 The attention to detail is chef's kiss and our winners absolutely LOVED them!
The Community Vibe 🌟
What makes these events so special isn't just the competition—it's the COMMUNITY. Seeing familiar faces, meeting new players, cheering each other on, and celebrating this incredible sport we all love? That's the real win! 🙌
The support, the laughter, the friendly trash talk (you know we had some! 😄), and the genuine excitement everyone brought to the court made this day absolutely unforgettable.
Whether you were team Wizards, Llamas, or Ninjas, everyone left with new friends, amazing memories, and probably some sore muscles! 😅💚
